Gypsy Jazz Havanese breeds purebred AKC Havanese to the AKC standard, and specializes in health, great personality, conformation, beauty, and charm.
The next Gypsy Jazz litter will arrive during Summer 2021. If plans go to plan, that means a litter with an especially lovely and remarkably capable mother with puppies ready to choose just as the days grow warmer and brighter. (Puppies "go home" a few weeks after that.)

When we have new babies, Gypsy Jazz humans devote 24/7 time and care to them.
Usually we would welcome visitors after the puppies are weaned and playing non-stop. The pandemic has changed that, and we recognize that we have offended some by declining in-home visits or command appearances. (In the past we were happy to visit with some of the other dogs, so that people could meet us and them *and* test in their own homes or yards just how hypoallergenic these dogs are. (They are amazingly so.)
Much as we regret almost everything about the living in pandemic times, we'd rather hurt feelings than take risks that might harm anyone (including the caregivers of our dogs, or interested parties).
The result of this is that most of our 2020 placements have been to homes that already have one (or more) of our dogs, or friends and family of people who do. Those are the people who, along with our veterinarian, will serve as references.
Still, "new" families are completely welcome, and we do maintain impeccable placement on any waiting list. Your name only rises, never gets bumped or lowered.

In 2020 were priced at $2000, with a small discount to families getting a second or third (or fourth) dog from us. That had been our lowest price for many years.
That has changed in 2021, when puppies will be priced at $2,400, discounts* to folks returning for their nth dog. That price will reduce the amount by which we operate 'in the red' -- which is how we wish to operate, never-ever making any profit or needing 'income' from this work from our hearts.
ALL of our dogs have a lifetime health guarantee against genetic or heritable health issues.
Gypsy Jazz is celebrating canine birthdays Age 15 and higher, dogs aging gracefully and part of our true-love family. Our hearts are broken when they have to move on, but we treasure those broken hearts, too.
## ## ##
We typically have puppies in shades of fawn and coffee or red or silver or multicolored shades of sable, and
sparkling black-and-tan beauties in an array of tans. (Tan may become gold or silver or white or champagne, to name a few). They are tricolor puppies with flashy white markings.
Our dogs occasionally throw chocolate or pale gold-blond puppies, although we may not see those again for a while.
Always, though, they throw exquisite and exquisitely healthy, happy, enchanting little dogs.
We anticipate at least as many colors going forward, with a new stud the son of our original Gypsy Jazz boy (now happily retired and perfect-love as always, to his people and kin).
From time to time we have an "older" AKC Havanese puppy available. Usually that means a "puppy" between six months and three years of age. (Dogs that were here to visit but not become part of our family, although we always want them to stay forever!)
If you're interested in a little bit older puppy that inquiry is welcome, too, although the next occasion of that is late 2021.
Puppies "go home" as early as 9 or 10 weeks and stay with us as long as six months. Please allow Gypsy to help choose the home-going date best for your puppy and for you!
MOST of all: We never place dogs for the money, never hurry a placement. Using all best practices, all dogs, all the time, ensures that we lose money every year. That's our choice and how we want it.
* lowest price is $2,100; veterinary costs and their pandemic price increases starting in 2020 mean we spend about $1000 on veterinary care during puppies' first four months
